Abdulnasser Alkaabi is an artist and enabler who found his place at the intersection of technology and entertainment. Native of Al Ain, Alkaabi has always had a love for tech, which took flight in 1985 with the introduction of the ZX Spectrum 128 and in 1987 with IBM 8088.
In middle school he made a wonderful painting that was displayed in the gallery of the school for many years which made him famous around his classmates.
In his early years, his father practiced his photography and videography passion around his family and friends, but it was the ignition of Alkaabi’s love for photography for years to come. Throughout his young years he would always have a camera around to shoot images with.
Throughout high school, he would experiment with advanced applications such as Pascal and Visual Basics and more importantly, a host of video and image applications such as Paintshop and Photoshop.
Fast forward to today, and you will find that Alkaabi has developed a wide range of experiences not only as a professional technology engineer, but also as an established artist.
In his quest for knowledge and challenges, Alkaabi moved to Abu Dhabi where he spends most of his free time photographing the city. Participating in several photography competitions in the UAE and worldwide. His pictures were nominated and won prizes in several occasions.
He loves to study other artists’ work and try all kinds of lenses as well as different cameras to find the suitable tools for the projects he is working on.
