Born in 1968, Hanadi Abu Assad is a Jordanian artist based in Abu Dhabi. Although a graduate of Business Administration, she has always had a passion of art - doodling in her textbooks and walls. To the artist, it was something she enjoyed doing, a hobby. Hanadi is a mother of three sets of twins, but that was not enough to keep her from creating. She took feng shui classes in London, which pulled her back into art. Abu Assad always makes time for herself to paint, and this eventually led her to be part of an art group in 2014, where the group paints under the supervision National Theatre. She has exhibited her artwork with them before, starting her name as an artist.
Abu Assad’s work is inspired by the books she reads and stories she hears. She captures them down to the slightest detail, creating smooth and realistic images.
